Welcome to the Home Page for Tesoro del Mar, Mexico’s 21st Century City.  Our name means Treasure of the Sea.  We are located on the coast of the Sea of Cortez in Sonora Mexico. The location features pristine sandy beaches, beautiful emerald green water, and year-round sunny climate.  With the opening of a new international airport near by, several hotel companies have rated this site as one of the top sites in the world for new development.
Our plan is to build a new city with all the benefits technology has to offer.  The infrastructure will be cutting edge, from the design of the streets to the forward-thinking layout of the City.  We are creating a new architectural style called “New Sonoran”, blending High Tech with an Old World flavor.
Our goal is to attract new industry in the high-tech and nano-tech jobs to our project over the coming years.

Tesoro del Mar, Mexico’s 21st Century City is located in Sonora Mexico about 60 miles from the AZ border

At Tesoro del Mar all commercial buildings will be owned and provided by Spirit Mountain LLC, and will be built as “Green” as possible.  Buildings will be leased to business.  US UBC code will be adhered to and construction of buildings can be built to suit. 
As this is a new city being built, the highest and newest technology will be used.  The infrastructure will be “cutting edge” and forwardly thought out to maximize ease and enjoyment.  With many miles of coastline to develop, the integrity and natural beauty of the area will always be foremost in the thoughts of the developer.
We will need all types of businesses to serve the local residents and the tourist industry which will also be developed at the same time.  The architectural theme will be throughout the entire community and will be High Tech with an Old World flavor we call “New Sonoran” architecture.
The City Square will have many one of-a- kind shops that will entice the visitor with items that can only be purchased there.  There will be many different types of eating establishments that will range from an open air look and feel to high-end 5 star establishments with world renowned chefs.
